Petra Piroska Póda
Petra is a dedicated and passionate professional dancer and educator with extensive experience in classical ballet and contemporary dance. She began her dance training at the age of six in Hungary, leading her to professional studies at School of Dance and Fine Arts, Gyor and obtained a Degree in Classical Ballet from the Hungarian Dance University, Budapest. She performed professionally in prestigious productions at the Operetta Theatre and the Hungarian State Opera House, GG Dance Eger Company honing her skills in both performance and choreography.
In 2023, she was selected by the Hungarian Arts Council to travel to New Zealand, where she played a key role in promoting Hungarian culture through the teaching of folk dance and language. She went on to establish a Hungarian folk dance group, further strengthening cultural connections and enriching the local community.
With a strong commitment to sharing her expertise, Petra now returns to ballet and contemporary dance education. She is eager to inspire and mentor dancers of all levels, bringing her rich professional experience, passion for movement, and dedication to artistic expression into every class.
